Apprenticeships

APPLICATIONS FOR 2008 HAVE NOW CLOSED

The Company has a strong commitment to training and currently have 68 apprentices. Approximately 10 – 12 apprentices are recruited each year in joinery, brickwork, plumbing, painting and decorating. The apprentices are trained under the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme to NVQ Level 3. Their training is undertaken on a day release and block release basis using local colleges. The training period is usually 2½ - 3 years.

Further Education
The Company operate a training programme for Quantity Surveyors. A number of students, who have usually undertaken “A” levels, are recruited for the programme each year. Their training involves day release at Salford University over a period of 5 years. The qualification obtained is Bsc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying.
